William (John) Hardiman of Garnish passed peacefully away at the Blue Crest Nursing Home, Grand Bank, on September 19th, at the age 98. Leaving to mourn with a lifetime of wonderful memories are nieces, Thelma (Ron) Keeping and Darlene (Steven) Stacey; sisters: Shirley Green, Elizabeth Scott, Meta Grandy; and other nieces, nephews, family and friends. Also leaving with fond and loving memories are friends, Phil and Jane Baker, and Marion Bennett.
William is predeceased by his wife, Lizzie Rose; parents, Mary and George Hardiman; sisters, Annie Marshall and Georgie Fizzard; and brother, Alpheaus Hardiman.
A sincere thank you to the staff and residents of the Marystown Retirement Centre where he resided for the last 9 years, as well as the staff of the Blue Crest Nursing Home for their care over the last month.

A celebration of life to take place for close family and friends at Wisemans Funeral Home, Marystown on Friday, September 22nd, 2023 at 2:00pm.. Interment to follow at United Church Cemetery, Garnish.
