Obituary
William (Bill) Fedoruk of Fairview passed away January 28th, 2023 at the age of 94.
Bill was born in Romatow, Poland June 14th, 1928.
He was predeceased by his daughter Carol (2015), parents John (1965) & Polly (1937), as well as all ten of his brothers & sisters, including Steve (2021), Mary (King) (2017), Nastia (Tyrkus) (2016), Alex (2010), Andrew (2003), Alexandria (Andreiuk) (1996), Tom (1994), Sidor (1993), and Melaha (1927). Meashka passed away as an infant before the family came to Canada.
Bill arrived in Canada with his parents, three sisters and a brother in 1929. The family settled near the banks of the beautiful Peace River in the district of Volin, before moving to Highland Park in 1935.
Bill began dating Olga Bawkowy in 1952. They were married on July 27th, 1955. Bill is survived by his wife of 67 years, as well as his son Bryan.
A memorial for Bill and Olga will be held Monday, June 5th at 1:00pm from the United Church in Fairview. Interment to follow at Highland Park Cemetery.
