Obituary of Wilfred Laverne Haas
Haas, Wilfred Laverne (Bill)
Passed away peacefully at home on June 18th, 2023 after a hard fought battle with cancer. Bill was in his 77th year. Survived by his loving partner of 27 years, Marg. Also survived by his only child Tyson (Stephany), step-children Tracy (Tom) and Greg (Carrie) and his brother Gary. Predeceased by his father Norman, Aunt Gladys and Uncle Ted, his brother Karl, sister-in-laws Karen and Ruth and his niece Lori. Bill will be greatly missed by all his family including his grandchildren and nieces and nephews, as well as many great friends and neighbours.
Bill spent most of his career working for Keeprite in Brantford before moving on to drive school bus in Lambton County. Many thanks to the Drs, nurses and PSWs through the Palliative Care Unit of Bluewater Health in Sarnia for all their help and support to help make his final days more comfortable. A private ceremony has been held. In lieu of flowers, donations would be gratefully accepted by Pancreatic Cancer Canada, Bayshore Foundation General Fund or VON.
