CLEMMER, Wilfred, 86, of Tavistock, passed away peacefully in Stratford General Hospital on Wednesday May 10, 2023. He was born in Waterloo on December 11, 1936 a son of the late Allan and Pearl (Schlueter) Clemmer.
He had been a dairy farmer for most of his lifetime and was a member of Immaculate Conception Church in Stratford.
Wilfred is survived by his wife, Mary Ann (Waechter) Clemmer whom he married at Maryhill, Ontario on September 26, 1964; two children, Jim Clemmer (Jean), Karen Clemmer; three grandchildren, Jessica Clemmer (Patrick Heming), Matthew Clemmer, Melina Clemmer; his brother, Fred Clemmer (Linda Simpson; his sister, Helen Justason.
He was predeceased by his brother, Robert Clemmer; his brothers-in-law and sister-in-law, Doug Justason, Paul and Frances Waechter
A private mass to celebrate Wilfred’s life will be held at Immaculate Conception Church, 50 Well St. Stratford. Reception following the service. Interment in McTavish Cemetery.
