QUICK: Wayne Sidney – passed away on Saturday, July 22, 2023 at the University Hospital, London, Wayne Quick of Aylmer in his 73rd year.
Dear brother of Don of Woodstock, Larry & wife Jane of Walsingham, Murray & wife Margaret of Ingersoll, Sue Boyd of Simcoe and Scott and wife Denise of St. Thomas. Survived by many nieces and nephews. He will be sadly missed by his friends and co-workers at Steelway Industries of Aylmer.
Predeceased by his parents Gordon and Sadie (Dougherty) Quick, by sister-in-law Janet Quick and brother-in-law Bob Boyd.
Wayne was a welder all of his life. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and was a big fan of the Toronto Blue Jays. He loved to play cards and loved to eat. At family get togethers, Wayne would be the 1st to the table and the last to leave. He spent a great deal of time riding his bike around the town of Aylmer and visiting friends at Tim Horton’s and the Aylmer Legion
Relatives and friend will be received at the Jeffrey W. Glendinning Funeral Home, 36 Front St. Port Rowan on Tuesday from 6-8pm. Funeral Service will be conducted in the Clark Chapel of the funeral home on Wednesday, July 26, 2023 at 2:00pm. Interment in Fairview Cemetery, Port Rowan.
