Warren Zettler, formerly of Hanover, passed away suddenly at SBGHC – Durham, on Friday, January 27, 2023. He was 75.
Born in Hanover on December 30, 1947 to the late Richard and Isabel (nee Girodat) Zettler. Warren always was up for a good time and enjoyed the company of good family and great friends. He was a roofer and loved working high in the sky. He had a passion for his motorcycles and there was no greater feeling than the wind in his hair going just “over” the speed limit on his bike. He looked tough on the outside, but was a big softie with a huge heart.
Survived by his devoted daughter Amber Smith (Keith) of Dundalk. Loved grandpa of Natasha, Ashton and Karissa. Remembered fondly by his brothers Ron Zettler of Hanover and Dennis (Dini) Zettler of Orangeville. Missed by nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents.
To honour his wishes, cremation has taken place and a Memorial Graveside Celebration will be held in the spring.
Memorial donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy. Arrangements entrusted to the care of Mighton Funeral Home, Hanover.
