The family of Walter Leonard “Scotty” Kent is deeply saddened to announce his sudden passing at home on Monday, August 28, 2023, in his 83rd year. Lovingly remembered and deeply missed by his devoted wife of 58 years Jualda “Jo” (nee Robinson) and his four children Stephanie (Paul), Jualda Jr. (Teddy), Andrea (Dan) and Phil (Mellissa). Papa is also deeply missed by his grandchildren Mollie, Mitchell, Macey, Adam, Madison, Cora, Payton, Maggie, Ryan and Boston. Dear brother of Joan Paul (late Ron), Wayne Kent and Jennifer Toms (Brian) and brother-in-law of Morag Robinson (Al) and Constance Parry (John). Fondly remembered by several nieces and nephews and their families.
Cremation has taken place. The family will receive friends at the Payne Funeral Home, 178 Main St., Odessa, Ontario K0H 2H0 (613-386-7373) on Tuesday, September 5, 2023 from 1-3 & 6-8 pm. For those desiring, memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
