Walter Raymond “Ray” Dymond passed away on Sunday March 19, 2023, at the age of 73 after a brief battle with cancer.
Ray was born in Bigger Saskatchewan to Jessie and Kenneth. He grew up with a love of music, an intense curiosity of how things worked, and a keen ability to get into mischief with his older siblings, Hope, Don, and Faith.
He enjoyed playing guitar, woodworking, and camping. He especially loved teaching his children and grandchildren how to build things and why it’s important to always have a first aid kit and fire extinguisher on hand.
He will be greatly missed by his wife of 51 years, Kathy; daughter Leah and her husband Norm, daughter Shelley and her husband Derrick, his grandchildren Mitchell, Sean and his fiancé Erika, Morgan-Leigh, Darian and his wife Kyra, Serena, Taylor and her fiancé Drew, Dylan, Scott and his fiancé Lynn, and Ashley and his great-grandsons Weston and Zane.
A celebration of life will be held on March 29th, 2023, at 1:30p.m. at the Snodgrass Funeral Home, 200 Woodgate Road, Okotoks, Alberta.
