WELLS, Walter “Irvin” ~ age 97 of Berwick, NS passed away Tuesday, March 14, 2023 in the Valley Hospice, Kentville. Born in Hespeler, Ontario he was a son of the late John and Mary “Doris” (Earl) Wells. Irvin was a retired Commercial Refrigeration Technician who worked for Palmer Refrigeration for 23 years. He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Julia (Naugler); daughter, Janice MacLean, Chester Basin; sons, Murray (Josephine) Wells, Port Hastings; Norman (Lorraine) Wells, South Rawdon; sisters, Delores Cutler, Gillams, NL; Lily (Clayton) Tipple, Corner Brook, NL; Rita (George) Rhodey, Calgary, AB; brothers, Thomas Wells and Donald Wells, both of Cormack, NL; grandchildren, Brandon Wells, Laura Ippolito, Krissy Sole, Jennifer MacLean and nine great grandchildren. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by sister, Ruby Fife; brothers, Uttley, Sandy and James. Visitation will be held 2-4pm and 6-8pm Friday, March 17, 2023 in Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main St., toll free 1-855-825-3448 from where the funeral service will be held 11:00am Saturday, March 18, 2023. Interment will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Middleton. For those unable to attend the service there will be a livestreaming of the service available at 10:55am, Saturday, March 18, ADT by selecting the ‘live stream’ option at the top of the funeral home webpage.
