Vivian Grandy
It is with broken hearts that the family of the late Vivian Grandy of Grand Bank announces her passing. Vivian passed away at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre in Burin on Saturday, September 2nd, 2023, at the age of 94.
Vivian loved life. She spent may years travelling and enjoying the world with her husband. She loved animals, especially her daughter’s cats and dogs. She enjoyed listening to music and dressing up in the latest fashions.
Strong willed, active, bright and talkative…Mom Grandy will be remembered and missed.
Leaving to mourn with a lifetime of wonderful memories are daughters, Margot Rideout (Wayne) of Grand Bank, Terry Grandy of St. John’s; 3 grandchildren, Clancy Rideout, Cassandra Rideout, Chelsea Sellers; sister, Margaret Little; plus a large circle of extended family and friends.
Vivian was predeceased by husband, Stanley; parents, Simeon & Charlotte Way; sister, Phyllis Wakefield.
The Grandy Family will be accepting visitors of family and close friends at Wiseman’s Funeral Home, Grand Bank on Tuesday, September 5th, 2023 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. Chapel Funeral will take place at Wiseman’s Funeral Home, Grand Bank on Tuesday, September 5th, 2023 at 2:00 pm. Interment to follow at United Church Cemetery, Grand Bank, NL.
In Vivian’s memory donations may be made to the SPCA in your location. No flowers by request of the family.
