With profound sadness we announce the passing of Viola Josephine Reid, 73, of Catalina, on January 8, 2023, with her family by her side at the Bonavista Hospital.
She was born to the late Leo and Lorraine Humby June 18, 1949. She is predeceased by her sister Patsy (Boyd) Crewe.
Leaving to mourn, sons Boyd (Dee) and Gordie (Annie); her grandchildren whom she adored, Jordan, Jamie, Abby, Natasha, Brian, Allan and Boyd; two great grandchildren; Braxton and Skylar; brothers Rich (Dorothy), Leo (special sister in law Judy), Gord (Yvonne), Shawn (Sherry); sisters Winnie (Aiden), Barb and Shirl (Jim) as well as many nieces and nephews, family and friends.
A heartful thanks to the staff at the Bonavista Hospital and Fewer’s Ambulance for their care and compassion.
Cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
