La famille a le regret de vous annoncer son décès survenu à Sturgeon Falls, le dimanche, 30 avril, 2023 à l’âge de 80 ans. Fille de feu Paul Pilon et de feu Marie-Reine Pilon (née Demers). Épouse de feu Ernel Viau. Mère de Normand (Marlene), Gilbert (Berthe), Diane Wills (Richard) et Suzanne Bédard (Gérard). Son souvenir restera gravé dans la mémoire de ses petits-enfants Josée (Sylvain Boissonneault), Paul (Maxine), Michel (Jenny), Briana Wills (Jordan Hamm), Chantal Lewington (Dave) et Yves Bédard (Renée) ainsi que ses arrières-petits enfants Alex, Kyana, Alina, Colton, Caleb, Jake, Olivia, Emma, Jacques et Valérie. Soeur de Jocelyne (Tony) et Denise (Ollen). Prédécédée par sa sœur Pauline (feu André). Dans ses moments de loisir, Viola aimait faire de la pêche, le camping, crocheter, tricoter, faire des crafts et jouer aux cartes. Son plus grand plaisir était de passer du temps avec sa famille. La famille accueillera parents et amis au Salon Funéraire Théorêt Bourgeois, le lundi 8 mai 2023 dès 10h30. Le service funéraire suivra dans la chapelle vers 11h30. Que vos témoignages de condoléances se traduisent en dons à la Société Canadienne du Cancer ou à l’Hopital Général du Nipissing Ouest.
The family announces with sorrow her death in Sturgeon Falls, Sunday April 30, 2023 at the age of 80 years. Daughter of the late Paul Pilon and of the late Marie-Reine Pilon (née Demers). Beloved wife of the late Ernel Viau. Loving mother of Normand (Marlene), Gilbert (Berthe), Diane Wills (Richard), and Suzanne Bédard (Gérard). Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Josée (Sylvain Boissonneault), Paul (Maxine), Michel (Jenny), Briana Wills (Jordan Hamm), Chantal Lewington (Dave), Yves Bédard (Renée) , and her great-grandchildren Alex, Kayana, Alina, Colton, Caleb, Jake, Olivia, Emma, Jacques, and Valérie. Dear sister of Jocelyne (Tony) and Denise (Ollen). Predeceased by her sister Pauline (late André). In her spare time Viola enjoyed fishing, camping, crochet, knitting, doing crafting projects and playing cards. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family. The family will receive friends for visitation on Monday, May 8, 2023 from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. A celebration of life will follow in the funeral home chapel at 11:30 a.m. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the West Nipissing Hospital Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
