Joseph “Victor” Gallant of Chesley, passed away at South Bruce Grey Health Centre, Chesley on Tuesday, May 9, 2023, in his 77th year.
Loving father of Clinton Gallant (Aileen Capell) of Mount Forest, Pamela Rawn of Hanover, and Michelle (Aaron) McMillan of Havelock. Cherished grandfather of Cadence, Nora, Stella, Max, Johnathan, Gabrielle, Rylee, and Graham. Victor will be fondly remembered by his siblings Russell (Aurella), Clarence (Mary), Austin (Valerie), Aldona (Blair) Rayner, Stephen (Dorothy), John Wayne (Blanche), Helen (Wyatt) Jeffrey, Irma (Ron) McRae, and Leslie (Linda) Gallant, all of Prince Edward Island. He was predeceased by his brothers Norman, Phillip, sister Brenda and his parents Gerald and Mae (Pitre) Gallant.
In honouring Victor’s wishes, there will be private family services. Memorial donations to the Chesley Hospital Foundation or Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
