On Monday, June 5, 2023, Vicki Joan Cartwright of Penticton passed away peacefully at her home after a long battle with cancer at the age of 80. She is predeceased by her parents John and Susan Gavin; brother Barry Gavin; sister Carol Gavin, and her loving husband Robert George Cartwright.
Vicki is survived by her sons Raymond (Brenda) and Gerry (Vicky); her brother John (Christina) Gavin; 5 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Vicki worked many office jobs throughout her life, but the one she loved most was the 22 years she spent at the Edmonton Post Office.
She and Bob loved to travel. They visited many great places around the United States but her favourites were New Orleans, Nashville, Memphis, and of course Las Vegas!
Vicki loved the casino, doing diamond art, and spending time with her family playing cards and winning their money. She also loved to golf and was a Twin Lakes Golf Course member.
The family requests that those who wish to express sympathy consider making a donation to the Penticton Cancer Clinic.
