GIBBONS, Vic – Passed away peacefully on Thursday February 9th, 2023 at the Norfolk General Hospital. Mr. Vic Gibbons of Simcoe in his 90th year. Beloved husband of Lenore for 67 years. Loving father of Jane Gardner (Greg). Cherished Grandpa of Scott and Erin (Lucas). Dear brother of the late Dick Gibbons (Rene). Vic will be sadly missed by many other relatives and friends and his cat Chuck. Vic was a well-known artist. He was very generous in his donations of art for many charities. Vic was involved in various community groups, the Simcoe Panorama, Long Point Region Conservation Authority. He received a Paul Harris Fellowship award from the Simcoe Rotary Club. Friends are invited to visit on Thursday February 16th, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at St. James United Church, 150 Colborne St S, Simcoe, ON where service will follow at 11:00 a.m. Reverend Barrie Bain officiating. Arrangements are entrusted to the Ferris Funeral Home, 214 Norfolk St. S., Simcoe.
