It is with great sadness and broken hearts that the family of the late Vernon Hynes announce his sudden passing on August 5th, 2023, at the young age of 53 years.
Vernon leaves to mourn his 2 beautiful daughters, Sarah and Taya, his parents Laverne Hynes and Willis Hynes, his sister Connie (Melv), niece Ocean and nephew Melvin Jr. and his sister Monique (aka Little Stinker) Vernon also leaves to mourn his Aunt Mar (Andrew), Uncle Wayne (Audrey), Aunt Marina and Kirb, Aunt Dulcie, Uncle John (Joyce), Aunt Iona, Uncle Ray (Irene), Aunt Doreen (Henry), both Uncle Ikeys, Uncle Kelv, Aunt Juanita, Aunt Amy (Lew), Aunt Marilyn (Edward), Uncle Joseph (Eliza), and the many, many wonderful cousins and relatives.
He is predeceased by his nan and pop, Bertha & Ronald Baines, his granny and grandfather, Catherine & John Hynes, Aunt Susie, Uncle Ambrose, Aunt Becky, Aunt Kathleen, Uncle Seymour and cousin Bartlett, Aunt MaryAnn & Uncle Danny.
Vernon, better known as Red to many, had a very special crew of friends. They are too many to name, but we also fear that we would leave someone out. Our family would like to thank everyone that has been a good friend to Vernon over the years and shown him their support. A huge and heartfelt thank you to his buddy Nev who has been there for Vernon especially over the last several months. We will forever be grateful.
Vernon was a quiet man, often a man of few words. But his words were always kind and gentle. He liked to make people smile and laugh, and to lend a helping hand. Vernon was much loved and will be greatly missed by all.

Visitation will take place on Tuesday, August 8, 2023 @ Fillatre’s Funeral Home in Port au Choix for family and close friends.
Cremation will follow.
Funeral and Burial will be at a later date.
