Reynolds, Vernon C. (March 22, 1926 – May 20, 2023)
With deep sadness the family of Verne Reynolds announces his peaceful passing on May 20, 2023, at Sakura House, Woodstock. Verne will be missed by his loving and devoted children, Ken (Darlene), Nancy, Marlene (Scott), grandchildren Lee-Ann (Matthew), Allison (Eric), the great-children whom he adored Ethan, Connor, Bennett, Aslyn, and Parker and numerous nieces and nephews. Verne joins the love of his life, wife, Jean predeceased in 2021, and daughter Mary Helen predeceased in 1963. Verne was 97 years young.
Verne was best known for his friendly, helpful service at Armstrong’s Drug Store, Big V and Shoppers. He was a long-time active member of Avondale United Church and volunteered for many community functions.
