MINOGUE, Verna, 97, formerly of Ingersoll, passed away peacefully at Maple Manor Long Term Care, Tillsonburg on Tuesday, January 10, 2023. She was born in Bayham Township, Elgin County on January 18, 1926 a daughter of the late Cecil and Pearl (Travis) Claus.
She was predeceased by her husband, Percy Cecil Minogue in 1977.
Verna is survived by eight children, Doris Heald, Doreen Minogue, Greetta Vyse, Jim Minogue (Terry), Ralph Minogue (Maggie), Mark Minogue (Laura), Tim Minogue (Nancy), Phillip Minogue (Connie); her daughter-in-law, May Minogue and very close friend, Rita; 36 grandchildren, 48 great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her sons, Gordon Minogue, David Minogue, John Paul Minogue and his wife Joanne; two sons-in-law, Robert Heald and Larry Vyse.
A service to celebrate Verna’s life will be held at the Tillsonburg Kingdom Hall for Jehovah’s Witnesses, 1 Michael Street Tillsonburg on Saturday January 28, 2023 at 1.30 p.m. Also available to watch on Zoom, for information please call 519-878-4071.
