It is with heavy hearts we announce the sudden passing of Valerie Rain in Calgary, Alberta on July 1, 2023. Valerie was born to Angelina and Henry Rain on July 14, 1986, in High River, Alberta.
She was a beloved mother, daughter, sister, auntie, cousin, and friend.
Valerie will be so dearly missed by her 5 children: Brealyn, Jayna, Makayla, Dominik, and Travis; mother Angelina; older brother Patrick (Natalie) Lefhand; nephew Strephon (Lindsey Ear), Striker Holloway, Casper Holloway, Cameron Holloway, Jayvin Holloway; nieces Icess and Icelynn Holloway; grandmothers Alvina Lefthand and Nancy Lefthand; uncles Elliotte Lefthand and Dwayne Lefthand; aunties Irene Lefthand, Ethel Lefthand, Dionne Lefthand, Loretta Lefthand and Bonita JimmyJohn. The family apologizes if anyone has been missed.
Valerie had a compassionate heart that filled those who loved her with joy, most of all her children.
