Obituary
Valerie Joyce Campbell, age 94, of Stratford, passed away peacefully at her residence on Monday, January 9, 2023. Born in Stratford, daughter of the late Milton and Ellen (Cahill) Shantz, Valerie was predeceased by her husband Louis Campbell (January 15, 2000). Proud mother of Shawn Campbell, Colleen Campbell, Tim (Brenda) Campbell, Chris (Donna) Campbell and Julie (Gordon) Wight. Grandmother to Nathan (Janet), Justin (Dominic), Tyson (Ryan), Sarah, Jeremiah (Lexi), Maria, Emily, Joseph, Ben, Laura, Amelia, Nicole (Louis), Deanna (Kyle), Tim and her great grandchildren Donavan, Aiden, Joshua, Ruby, Jackson, Amy, Leonora and Mitchell. Valerie will be fondly remembered by her siblings Elaine Lewicki, Carole (Ken) McGuire, Father Russell Shantz along with her two sisters-in-law Fran Shantz and Marylou Shantz and the entire Campbell family and her many nieces and nephews. Valerie was a resident of Stratford her entire life and a faithful member of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church and a member of the CWL for many years. Besides her parents and her husband, Valerie was predeceased by one child Michael, siblings Morley (Jeanne), Bruce, Wayne, Marv, Eugene, Doris (Jack) Devlin, Madeline (Roy) Lee, Mariam (Pete) Debeck, Elva, Zita and her brother-in-law Joe Lewicki. We express special thanks and our deep appreciation to all of the wonderful people and services involved, including Dr. Thomasson, Care Partners, friends and family, with making Val’s passing at home possible. We are truly grateful. God bless you all! Family and Friends are invited to Valerie’s visitation on Saturday, January 21, 2023 from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, 96 Huron St, Stratford.
