Peacefully at her home on Friday, April 21, 2023 the Lord called to himself Tina Baker at the age of 82 years. Beloved wife of Stan Baker† for 61 years. Dear mother of Yvonne and Roy Spanninga, Maria Agatha Baker†, Willem and Rebecca Baker, Ed and Lisa Baker, Michael and Evaleen Baker, Rob and Jen Baker. Loved Oma of twelve grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Siete de Wolde, Charlotte Devine†, Chris de Wolde† , Gre† and Piet† Eelhart, Klaas† Bakker, Menna† and Jan Jansen, Joke and Albert† Van Dyk, Ria and Hein† Van Luik, Marry and Henk Van Dam, Willy and Age† DeBruin.
Tina was a PSW with Red Cross Home Care for many years.
Friends may visit with the family at KITCHING, STEEPE & LUDWIG FUNERAL HOME, 146 Mill St. N., Waterdown on Monday evening from 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held at REHOBOTH CANADIAN REFORMED CHURCH, 1225 Dundas St., Burlington on Tuesday, April 25, 2023 at 11 a.m., Rev. C.J. VanderVelde officiating. Interment to follow at Burlington Memorial Gardens. A livestream link is available on the website under Events. Donations to Guido de Bres High School – Leaping Forward campaign would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy. Special thanks to the palliative care team from Juravinski Hospital for their care and guidance.
