Thomas Jeffrey Grant
January 29, 1955 – January 23, 2023
Tom Grant passed away suddenly on Monday, January 23rd in his Peachland home only a week before his ….. 42nd birthday.
Although Tom lived a less than average life span, he did not live an average life. He liked to dream big, had a colourful resume of work experience and excelled at many things, making friendships along the way.
He liked to spend his time playing music, fishing,, hunting, golfing, eating good food with his family who he was very proud of, and having couch naps … not necessarily in that order. Afternoon tea parties and pedicures with his granddaughters he cherished most.
Tom’s youthful energy was captivating, his entertaining stories were endless, and he was certainly the most fun person at the party. Never boring, he had an appreciation for shock humour. He would laugh at inappropriate times, but his tender hearted charisma made people feel special, because they were special to him, and he will be missed by many.
He will be remembered for good times, unrivalled smoked fish, and his legendary great hair. (And hopefully not for pulling his pants down on stage!)
Survived by his children: Jessie Grant and Ginger Grant, his grandchildren Saije Widdis and Violet Tucker, and his siblings Dave Grant (Ruth), Tim Grant (Moirey), Rob Grant (Sue), Judy Meinzinger (Andy), as well as several nieces ad nephews.
A celebration of life is planned from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm, February 26, 2023 at Whiski-Jack’s Pub, 2442 Drought Road, West Kelowna, BC. (Facebook page event – fb.me/e/2y4TXA2oL?mibextid=RQdjqZ)
