C’est avec une grande tristesse que nous annonçons le décès de M. Tinel Timu, survenu le 20 avril 2023, un homme exceptionnel et aimé de tous ceux qui l’ont côtoyé. Originaire de Roumanie, M. Timu était un grand promoteur immobilier passionné depuis plus de 40 ans, réalisateur de plusieurs projets d’envergure. Mais M. Timu était bien plus qu’un simple homme d’affaires, il était très impliqué dans les fondations caritatives et la communauté roumaine et lavalloise. Sa médaille de l’Assemblée nationale était la preuve de son dévouement envers sa communauté.
Timu laisse dans le deuil sa femme, Mme Otilia Timu, ainsi que sa famille et ses amis. Il était brillant, aimé et respecté de tous ceux qui l’ont connu. Passionné par sa famille et dévoué à aider les autres, sa disparition soudaine laisse un grand vide dans la communauté de Laval et dans nos cœurs, mais son souvenir restera gravé en nous pour toujours.
Les funérailles de M. Tinel Timu auront lieu les jeudi 27 et vendredi 28 avril de 18h à 21h aux funérailles Yves Légaré au 1350 Autoroute 13, Laval. Le samedi, le cortège partira de Yves Légaré à 11h pour le service religieux qui se tiendra à l’Église Holy Cross 4865 Chemin du Souvenir, Laval, QC H7W 1E1, suivi de l’enterrement au cimetière Saint-Vincent de Paul au 3503 boul. Levesque Est.
La famille Timu tient à exprimer sa gratitude envers tous ceux et celles qui ont offert leur soutien et leurs condoléances dans cette période difficile.
En sa mémoire, la famille Timu invite les personnes désireuses de lui rendre hommage à faire un don à la « Fondation École Peter Hall » ses contributions généreuses à diverses causes témoignent de son engagement envers la communauté.

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Tinel Timu on April 20, 2023, an exceptional man loved by all who knew him. Originally from Romania, Mr. Timu was a passionate real estate developer for over 40 years, having completed several large-scale projects. But Mr. Timu was more than just a businessman, he was greatly involved in charitable foundations and the Romanian and Laval community. His National Assembly Medal was a testament to his dedication to his community.
Mr. Timu leaves his wife to mourn, Mrs. Otilia Timu, as well as his family and friends. He was brilliant, loved, and respected by all who knew him. Passionate about his family and dedicated to helping others, his sudden passing leaves a big void in the community of Laval and in our hearts, but his memory will remain with us forever.
Funeral services for Mr. Tinel Timu will be held on Thursday, April 27 and Friday, April 28 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Yves Légaré Funeral Home at 1350 Autoroute 13, Laval. On Saturday, the procession will leave Yves Légaré at 11 a.m. for the religious service at Holy Cross Church at 4865 Chemin du Souvenir, Laval, QC H7W 1E1, followed by the burial at St. Vincent de Paul Cemetery at 3503 Boul. Levesque Est.
The Timu family would like to express their gratitude to all those who have offered their support and condolences during this difficult time.
