Obituary
Timmy Trites, 62 of Moncton passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 19, 2023 at The Moncton Hospital. Born in Moncton he was the son of the late Reginald and Irma (Jones) Trites.
Tim attended the Adult Services Workshop and later the YMCA Day Program (ADP), where he made many friends over the years. Tim loved his family. Immensely his favourite past time was spending time at his family’s camp in Grangeville New Brunswick, where he spent many summers gathering with his loved ones for family, reunions and other special occasions Tim’s excitement and enthusiasm around holidays and family gatherings is something his family will cherish forever. Tim was always grateful and willing to go on an outing, in younger years especially with his brother Danny to local hockey and baseball games. Tim was raised by his parents until their deaths, then his sister Tammy became not only his caregiver and guardian, but his best friend. Along with her daughters and extended families, they shared many heartwarming moments with their uncle Timmy.
Tim will be sadly missed by his siblings, Tammy (Charles), Cindy (Roger), Karen (late Tom), Dave (Donna), Danny (Joan), Steven, Rick and Keith (Joan); a devoted uncle Timmy to many nieces and nephews especially Lisa, Carrie (Pat), Ryan (Crystal) who were a big part of his final years, as well as their children Kyle, Tyson, Colby, Kaleb, Emily, Chelsey, Cody and Chanel.
A public graveside service will take place on Friday, August 25, 2023 at 11:00 am at Grangeville Baptist Cemetery, where Tim will rest with his parents.
