Thomas (Tom) John Zeiben was born on the family farm January 19, 1942, to parents John and Mabel (Pohozoff) Zeiben in the R.M. of Sliding Hills. He attended Whitesand Valley School then Kamsack Collegiate. When he was young, he farmed the family farm and in the winters he would travel to Toronto to work in the factories. In 1965, he married Allona and together they purchased the family farm. They raised three sons. Tom had three true passions in life: farming, flying and fishing. He retired from the farm and moved to Yorkton, where he passed away on March 14, 2023 Tom is survived by his sons Troy (Janet), Lawrence (Korin) and Brent (Bobbie-Lee), two grandchildren Kaedyn (Jacob) and Gavri, along with Allona Zeiben, three sisters Kaye (Charlie) Achtymichuk and family, Olga Zbetnoff and family, Pauline Harling and family and other surviving aunts, uncles and cousins He is predeceased by John and Mabel Zeiben, son Evan, his brother John (surviving family), sister-in-laws and brother-in-laws, aunts and uncles, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. In keeping with Tom’s wishes a private family service will be held.
