Thérèse Léger, 75, of
Grand-Barachois, passed away on Wednesday August 23, 2023 at the Dr.
Georges-L.-Dumont UHC. Born in Moncton, she was the daughter of the
late Philippe and Ida (Savoie) Barolet.
Prior to her retirement, Thérèse
enjoyed working as a resident attendant for many years at the Villa du
Repos and the Manoir Pascal Poirier.
She will be sadly missed by her husband for 30 years, Normand
A. Léger; five children: Monique LeBlanc (Richard), Michel
Cormier, Daniel Cormier (Line), Paul Cormier (Jeannie), and Natalie
Cormier (Kris); two step-children: Sophie Lanteigne (Jonathan) and
René Léger; nine grandchildren: Zacharie,
Janelle, Mélika, Nate, Mathieu, Patrick, Alexandria,
Jasmine, and Mali; one brother, Camille Barolet; as well as her
nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
In accordance with her wishes, there will be no visitation
and no funeral service. Interment will be at Our Lady of Calvary
cemetery in Dieppe. In memory of Thérèse, a
contribution to the CHU Dumont Foundation (oncology) or the N.B. Heart
and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated. Funeral arrangements are
in the professional care of Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre,
Moncton (506-858-1900).
