Sylvia Bradley
February 8th, 1933- March 10th, 2023
It is with great sadness that we announce the recent passing of Sylvia Bradley at Golden Heights Manor in Bonavista.
Sylvia was born in 1933 to John and Isabella Hunt and in 1963 married John R. Bradley. Together they owned and operated the Garrick Theatre in Bonavista for 33 years.
She enjoyed family trips, poetry, music and had a great love for all creatures great and small.
Those left to cherish her memory include her son John and his wife Lisa; daughter Jennifer and her husband Paul. She also leaves behind her loving granddaughter Lauren.
Cremation has taken place. In keeping with her wishes, a private service will be scheduled at a later date.
Those wishing to honour her memory may make a donation to an animal charity of their choice.
At the Sea-Side
by Robert Louis Stevenson
When I was down beside the sea
A wooden spade they gave to me
To dig the sandy shore
My holes were empty like a cup
In every hole the sea came up
Til it could come no more.
