The family announces with great sorrow her passing at the Timmins & District Hospital on Friday, September 15, 2023 at the age of 73 years. Loving wife of Marcel Mageau. Cherished mother of Lynne Grenon (Stephane) and Patsy Désormeaux-Hansen (Jon). Loving grandmother of Mathieu, Douglas, Patrick, Teah (Kyle) and Jayme. Great grandmother to Payton, Grace and Alanis. She also leaves behind her step children Trevor Anderson, Marc Monette (Christine) and Chrystal Ouellette. Step grandchildren Angelina, Kayle and Zayden. She will be sadly missed by her nieces, nephews, cousins and her only sister Diane Morellato. Suzanne is predeceased by her parents Roméo and Georgette Lortie, her siblings Gilles and Jeannine Lortie.
Suzanne was a caring nurse at the Golden Manor Home for the Aged for 37 years.
As per her wishes, cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held on Monday, September 18, 2023 from 1pm to 3pm with a chapel service at 3pm from the Miron-Wilson Funeral Home. A lunch reception will follow. Remembrance donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated. The Funeral arrangements have been entrusted with the MIRON-WILSON FUNERAL HOME, Cremation and Reception Centre, 150 Balsam St. S., Timmins.
