Obituary of Stewart “Stu” Imlay
It is with sadness we announce the death of Stuart “Stu” Imlay, age 67, of White Hill on Thursday evening, March 30, 2023 in the Aberdeen Hospital.
Born in New Glasgow on May 21, 1955, he was a son of the late Sanford and Mary (Chisholm) Imlay.
Stuart grew up in Westville. He worked at various jobs over the years, including Christensen’s Farm and the Auburn Cemetery. Later he did mechanical work with Jugg’s Towing and more recently with John Wilson’s Salvage. Stuart especially enjoyed his little fur baby Jasmine.
He will be sadly missed by his daughter Alicia Imlay (Jeremy), Westville; son Michael Imlay (Angela), Stratford, PEI; grandchildren Hayley and Dawson; step-grandson Dylan; partner Karen Kenny; and former wife Lorraine. He will also be remembered by the MacNeil family where he had made his home after the death of his mother.
He is predeceased by his brother John and Louis and special friends Art and Daisy MacNeil.
His family will receive visitors on Friday, April 14 from 2-4 and 7-9 at Eagles Funeral Home from where his funeral service will be held 1 o’clock Saturday April 15. His funeral will be streamed live and may be watched by clicking on the following linkwww.youtube.com/live/DQDnrHVMhZ0?feature=share
