It is with profound sadness that the family announces the sudden passing of Steven James Bishop on April 15, 2023, at the young age of 32.
Left to cherish his memory is his proud mother, Jeanne Bishop; brother Darren Bishop; father Grant Bishop; grandparents, Lynn Stillwell, Glen, and Diane Bishop; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
He was predeceased by his grandparents, Gloria and Marvin Blumhagen, Allen Stillwell; great-grandmother, Betty Bernard; cousin Mikel Anderson; friends, Devon Mooney, and Jarad Christoffersen.
Steven was born in 1991 in Edmonton, where he also spent his early years. He later moved with his family to Chipman, AB, where he finished his schooling and met his lifelong friends.
After some time Steven decided on a career in the automotive business. He started at Sherwood Ford where he began his apprenticeship, finishing his second-year last fall.
Steven will be remembered for his contagious laugh, ability to make anyone smile, and his love for his family and friends. He will be missed dearly.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, April 24, 2023, at Connelly-McKinley – Edmonton South Chapel, 4820 Meridian Street NW Edmonton, AB.
