Obituary
Sterling Amherst MacLeod, 87, formerly of Edward St, passed away peacefully at Monarch Hall, Riverview NB on August 29, 2023.
Born in Sunny Brae, he was the son of the late Charles and Mary (Wells) MacLeod.
Sterling retired from sales with Kayser-Roth Corporation. Sterling was happiest when he was out walking and enjoying the beauty of nature.
Sterling is survived by sister Evelyn Fowler (George, deceased) of Burlington ON; nieces Elizabeth Thompson-Hahne (Harry) of Phoenix AZ, Nadine Thompson of Allison NB; nephews Bruce Thompson (Deborah) Nepean ON, David Fowler (Pat) of Burlington ON, as well as distant family and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a sister Dorothy Thompson (late Clarence), brother Donald MacLeod and nephew Brent Thompson.
Private interment will take place at Elmwood Cemetery.
