PLUHAR, Stephen Andrew – Passed away at the St.Catharines General Hospital on Saturday June 3, 2023 at the age of 61. Beloved son of Andrew and Agnes Pluhar. He will be dearly missed by his many friends, extended family members, and his godson Christopher Majtenyi.
Stephen was a kind-hearted, generous man who believed the most important activity in life was to help others. From cooking and serving food at Knights of Columbus fundraising events to advising his clients on their financial futures to running errands for his elderly parents, Stephen’s heart of gold was there for all to see. His vast knowledge of history and politics made for some lively discussions. He was an avid movie goer, book reader, Folk Arts Festival attendee and all-around great man who lives on in our hearts.
As per his wishes cremation has taken place. Friends are invited to join the family at Garden City Funerals and Cremations (Formerly Patrick J Darte Funeral Chapel), 39 Court Street, St.Catharines (Downtown). Visiting Saturday June 10th from 11am until 12pm with a Funeral Service in Celebration of his Life to follow. Online condolences at pjdartefh.ca
