It is with great sadness that the family of the late Stanley William Anderson announce his sudden passing at home on Wednesday, April 5th, 2023, at the age of 60.
Born in Port aux Basques, Stanley was the son of the late Stanley and Margaret (nee Taylor) Anderson.
Stanley will be sadly missed by wife, Pauline Anderson (nee Bateman), his children, Gail Anderson (Grant Courtney) and Andy Anderson (Crystal Herritt), grandchildren, Johnathan, Colton, and Lincoln Anderson. Stanley also leave to mourn his brothers and sisters, Chris (Kyla) Anderson, Troy Anderson (Trisia Harpe), Roxanne (Roland) Keeping, Dianne Downey, Ellen (Danny) Hatcher, and Carolann (Reginald) Knott. He will also be missed by brothers and sisters in law, nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
Stanley was predeceased by his brother in law, Michael Downey.
The funeral service will take place on Monday, April 10th, 2023 from St. Georges Anglican Church in Burnt Islands, with Rev. Dianna Fry officiating at 11:00 A.M. In keeping with Stanley’s wishes, cremation will follow, with interment at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Stanley can be made to the family. Funeral arrangements were under the care of Oceanside Funeral Home, 23 Read Street, Port aux Basques. Words of comfort can be sent to the family by visiting www.oceansidefh.ca
