Stanley Anderson Burt of Harriston passed away peacefully at Palmerston Hospital on Friday, February 3, 2023 in his 90th year.
Stan was the beloved husband of the late Leona (Breutigam) Burt.
Remembered by his daughter Sharon Burt of Harriston, and by his many nieces and nephews and their families.
Predeceased by his parents Roy and Annie (Anderson) Burt, Leona’s parents Noah and Elizabeth Breutigam, sisters Doris Newman and husband Harold, and Lorna Cooper and husband James, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Harvey Breutigam, Violet and John Allenson, Bernice and Maxwell Loughran, Robert and Doreen Breutigam, and Carl Breutigam, nephews Jack Cooper, Terry Newman, and Paul Allenson, nieces Jennifer Allenson and Brenda Loughran, and by his great-nephew Lee Newman
A graveside service will be held at Harriston Cemetery in the spring.
Memorial donations to Palmerston & District Hospital would be appreciated and may be made through the Hardy-Lee Funeral Home, Harriston.
