Stan’s Obituary
Stan passed away peacefully with his family by his side at the Red Lake Hospital at the age of 67. He will be lovingly remembered by his two daughters Lisa (Christopher), Sarah (Rocky), one grandson Ethan, mother Matilda, one sister Clara (George) Thompson, brother-in-law Gerald (Otillia), nieces Lee Ann (Allan), Tania (Joel), Catherine, and nephew Jonathan.
He was predeceased by his father Stanko, and wife Debby.
He was an honest mechanic who served the community for 40 years. He loved sports especially hockey and cheering on his Maple Leafs. He had a real sweet tooth and enjoyed fresh baked goods. He liked to do things on his own terms and was very independent. He enjoyed spending time with his family and was proud to be the first one to hold his grandson.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 8th at 11 am at St. John the Apostle Catholic Church with Father Justin Eze officiating.
A private family interment will take place in the Red Lake Cemetery.
Donations in his memory may be made to the Canadian Mental Health Association or the Red Lake Margaret Cochenour Hospital Auxiliary through the Red Lake Chapel, Box 237, Red Lake, ON P0V 2M0.
