DUTTON, Stacey Eldon – Stacey Eldon Dutton in his 89th year, passed away at The Royal Bournemouth Hospital, Bournemouth, England on Saturday, January 21st, 2023.
Stacey was predeceased by his parents Fred Dutton and Evelyn Dutton, brother Don Dutton, sister Marion Ferris and his brothers in law Bill Ferris, Irwin Wippel and Floyd Thompson, parents in law, Harry and Orpha Thompson. He is survived by his wife Doris (nee Thompson), son Mark (Louisa), daughter Anne (Andrew) and grandchildren Owen, Sybilla and Mackenzie all in England. He is also survived by sisters in law Gloria Dutton and Marie Wippel and several nieces and nephews in Canada.
Stacey was born in Houghton Township, Ontario and lived in Vittoria and then Hamilton for many years. He was employed by John Deere, Ltd., Hamilton and then Ford of Canada, Oakville. He and Doris moved to England in 2010 to be near their children.
His funeral will be held in England on February 14th. A Service of Remembrance will be held at a later date with internment at Vittoria Baptist Cemetery. If so desired, donations may be made to the Vittoria and District Foundation Inc. or a Charity of your choice. Arrangements are entrusted to the Ferris Funeral Home, 214 Norfolk St. S.
