Shirley Ann Georgina Ruetz, of Walkerton, passed away peacefully at Brucelea Haven in Walkerton on Saturday, September 9, 2023. She was 83.
Born in Hanover on November 19, 1939 to the late David and Mildred (nee Hodder) Campbell. Shirley worked along side her husband with SunLife Financial as his bookeeper. Family was everything! Her pride and joy were her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Survived by son Randy (Trish) Ruetz of Clifford and daughter Lisa (Brian) Fosty of Hanover. Dear Nana of Alissa, (Jessie) McGovern and Jonathan (Alex) Ruetz. Loved by her great grandchildren Jackson, Adelynn and Liam. Fondly remembered by her brother David (Susan) Campbell of Hanover, Kathleen Eckenswiller of Mildmay. Predeceased by her beloved husband William “Bill” Ruetz, sister Patricia Lohwinow.
Visitation will be held at Mighton Funeral Home, Hanover, on Tuesday, September 12, 2023 from 5-8pm. A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, September 13, 2023 at 11:00 am. Interment in Holy Family Cemetery, Hanover.
Memorial donations to the Brucelea Haven Residents Fund would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
