It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our mom,
Shirley Mary Lucille (Forget) Gallant on January 1, 2023 at the age of
83 years. Shirley was born on September 3, 1939 in Val D’Or, Quebec.
She was predeceased by her parents, Cecille and Georges Forget, her
brothers Richard (Chic) and Terry Forget, the father of her children

and her brother, Todd (Donna) and her four children, Gilbert (Mary),
Wade (Audrey), Dawn (Jim) and Chad (Carolyn), as well as her
grandchildren, Charley (Shawnee), Christopher, Jessica, Garrett,

Shirley
was a proud military wife and mother who loved her pets, especially
her miniature toy poodles and her rescue cat. She enjoyed sewing,
baking bread, walking, reading, and her many great car adventures with
her sisters over the years.
The family would like to thank
the extraordinary staff of Spencer’s Memorial Nursing Home for their
