BULLOCK: Shirley Isabelle (nee Armstrong) – passed away peacefully surrounded by family at her home on Friday, July 7, 2023. Shirley Bullock of Wilsonville her 87th year.
Beloved wife of the late Clare Bullock who predeceased her August 6, 2020. Loving mother of Heather (Ken) Wilson, Ron (Kari), Roger, Dale (Shelley), Delmar (Clarence) and Neil. Sadly missed by her grandchildren Jesse, Joclyn, Chad & Chelsey, Blair, Ashley, Sarah, Amber and great grandchildren Cory and Paisley.
Predeceased by her parents Gordon & Ethel (Livergood) Armstrong and her brother Harold & Janet Armstrong.
Shirley was proud public and high school bus driver for over 45 years. Her son in laws mother, Ruby Wilson taught her to drive and then she started work with Tim Brule in Bright, Ontario in 1967. Over her decades long career she transported tens of thousand of children safely and without incident! Following retirement at age 70, her and her husband enjoyed summers traveling to blue grass jamborees in their camper. Shirley was also an avid 5-pin bowler who continued to played into her 85th year.
Relatives and friends may call at the Glendinning Funeral Home, 40 William St., Plattsville on Thursday, July 13, 2023 from 1-1:45pm followed by the funeral service in the Chapel at 2:00pm. Interment will take place in Chesterfield Cemetery.
