SHELDON TODD GRINDE
1967-2023
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Sheldon (Todd) Grinde, a beloved father, brother, son, uncle, nephew and friend. Todd was a hard-working & innovative builder with excellent trades skills who could make or build anything! His versatility coined the phrase, ‘just call Todd,’ among his loved ones. He was a talented craftsperson and an exciting and cheerful person to be around. He had an inventive spirit and was always coming up with creative solutions. His loyalty and friendship meant everything to those who were close to him. The man had a great love for food and was often found in the kitchen showing off his culinary skills, especially while he brewed up a batch of homemade wine, threw together a brine for smoked salmon or even while in the bush tapping a birch tree for syrup! Through his adaptability and resourcefulness, Todd made a lasting impression on everyone he crossed paths with. He will be fondly remembered for his upbeat spirit, clever humour, and his willingness to lend a helping hand. His loss will be deeply felt by his family and friends and he will always be remembered as a remarkable and cherished member of his community. Cremation has taken place.
A graveside service was held on Thursday, June 29, 2023, at 3:00 p.m. in Wetaskiwin Memorial Cemetery.
