MacIsaac, Sheila Anne, age
58, Lower Sackville passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving
family, in Hospice Halifax on January 25,
2023.
Raised in
Erinville, Guysborough County, she was the daughter of the late Doug
and Mary (Kelly) Farrell. Mourning with heavy hearts are her husband
of 38 years Adrian, her three children, Derek (Thuy) Maddy and Penny;
Danielle (Noel) special grandchildren Isaac, Ivy, and Isla;
Khristine (Ryan).
She was the
life of the party. She always had a positive outlook on life and
touched the lives of many people. Mom loved to shop and would often
get carried away. She loved showing off her new clothes and shoes that
she saved and would never wear. She had so many funny quirks that made
us laugh and love her so much more. We have no question that God will
be greeting Mom in heaven.
Mom was an
angel on earth. Her contagious laugh and quick wit did not go
unnoticed. She had great faith and a true relationship with God. She
was a hard worker and worked many years at Smokey Drive Elementary as
an Excel Worker. Her love for Dad was pure and she would refer to him
as her “rock”. His patience and kind nurturing soul helped
Mom throughout her journey and everything in life. Mom
enjoyed
being by the ocean especially Fox Point Beach, hiking, travelling, and
going “Down Home” (Erinville). She enjoyed her time spent
with her special friends, too many to mention, but in your heart you
know who you are.
She is
survived by her sister Carol Anne (Wayne), predeceased by her sister
Jean (Gerard) and in-laws Florence and John Angus MacIsaac. Also
survived by, birth mother, Mary Ruelland, sisters: Noel, Sharon,
Debbie, Emily, Darlene. Predeceased by Denise, Paula, Fred Jr., and
Arlene.
Special thanks
to Hospice Halifax and 7.4 at the Halifax Infirmary for the wonderful
care. Family flowers only.
Cremation has
taken place. Funeral Mass will be at the Holy Trinity Parish (St. John
Vianney) on Friday February 10th 2023 at
11:30am, reception to follow downstairs in the hall. Burial at
Oakridge Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Donations can be made to Hospice
Halifax or Ovarian Cancer Research Canada. Online condolences:
