Obituary
Kenney, Sharon Dianne – 75, Clark’s Harbour, passed away at home on February 21st, 2023. Born on April 12th, 1947 she was the daughter of the late Genevieve (Nickerson) and Walter Smith.
Sharon was always the first to lend a hand, volunteer her time or slip you some change for a sweet treat. She was a dedicated bingo player and enjoyed spending time at dances with friends. She loved going for drives and listening to live music. She was truly passionate about her family and would tell anyone who would listen all about her grandchildren and how proud she was of them.
She is survived by her loving partner Allison, daughter Lisa(Ernest), sons Derrick(Cheryl) and Darren (Francine), grandchildren Chanel, Danielle, Tanner, Gabriel, Darren, Tyler and Jewel, great-grandchildren Ryder, Everly, Isla, Beau, Jasmine, Tyrell, Ezmay and Dustin, great-great-grandchildren Rory and Sam. Besides her parents, Sharon was predeceased by sisters Olive and Mary, brothers Gerald and Ashward (Sonny) Kenney, father of her children Paul Penney, companion Joel Newell, granddaughter Anjelika and son in law Scott.
The family would like to thank the VON nurses and home care for their compassion and care this past year.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 28th from 6-8 pm from the H.M. Huskilsons Funeral Home, Barrington. A private graveside service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to VON Tri-County or Minnie’s Feline Friends.
