Passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side on Saturday May 13, 2023, at the age of 85. Devoted husband of Adriana of 64 wonderful years. Proud father of Fabio (Toni) and Diego (Jean). Cherished Nonno of Tempest, Max, Georgia, Nico and Ben. Loving Nonno Bis Bastian. He is survived by his brother Rino (Sylvia). Sergio will be sadly missed by his many family and friends here in Canada and in Italy.
Family and friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home 4671 Hwy 7, Woodbridge (just west of Pine Valley Dr.) on Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. A mass will be held on Wednesday, May 17, 2023, at 10 a.m. at St. Padre Pio Church 5500 Major MacKenzie Dr. W. Kleinburg. Cremation to follow. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the William Osler Health System Foundation would be appreciated.
