On se souviendra également de l’excellent communicateur qu’il était, toujours à la recherche du mot juste, de l’homme solide, optimiste, à la détermination inébranlable et fortement engagé dans l’évolution de notre société et du Québec.
Il laisse dans le deuil sa conjointe Éliane Hamel, son fils Mathieu (Julie Moisan), son beau-fils Joël Simard (Mallory Giroux), sa belle-fille Laurence Simard (Arnaud Desbiens), sa sœur Raymonde (Alfred Savard), son plus grand ami Pierre-Paul Dufault (Christiane Mongrain), sans oublier de nombreux autres parents et amis.

Le vendredi 10 février 2023 de midi à 15h, suivi des funérailles en la chapelle du complexe.
