Satya Deo Patel, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away on January 01, 2023. He was born on July 28, 1942 in Natavarau (Tavarua), Ba, Fiji Islands, the son of Shiva Bhai Patel and Sumitra Bai Patel.
Satya was a kind and generous man who always put the needs of his family and friends before his own. He was a hard worker and a respected member of his community, known for his honesty, integrity and big heart.
Satya will be deeply missed by his wife Prabha Wati Patel, children Brian, Rina, Ryan, Kris, and grandchildren, Kaitlyn and Sophia Patel, who will remember him as a loving and devoted husband, father, and grandfather. His warm smile and loving presence will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He had a larger-than-life presence and touched everyone in a unique way.
A private family service will be held to honor Satya’s memory. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in his name to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada. Rest in peace, Satya. You will be greatly missed.
