Obituary
Sandy McLaughlin, 82, of Riverview passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 12, 2023 at The Moncton Hospital. Born in Moncton, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Bertha (Ryan) Lutz. Sandy was a former employee of the T. Eaton Co. Ltd. in Toronto. She was a member or the Pythian Sister Saxby Temple and ladies auxiliary of New Castle Legion. She won the Maritime Archery Champion in Gagetown several years ago. She enjoyed hunting, salmon, fishing, knitting, sewing, flowers, gardening and was an artist.
Sandy will be sadly missed by her husband of 61 years, Douglas McLaughlin; son David McLaughlin; daughter Tammy Kingston; grandchildren Scott, Kelly (Tyler), Anne, Jonathan, Jacob and Tyler and several great grandchildren; sister Sharon Crossman; sister-in-law Jeanne McRae; brother-in-law Allen Wilmot; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Sandy was predeceased by her son Douglas “Bobbie” (2015), sisters Ruth Cole, Kathleen Wilmot, Annie Sprague and brother David Lutz.
Visiting hours will be held Sunday, July 16, 2023 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 PM at Fergusons Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Rd. Moncton NB (506-858-1995). A Graveside service will be held on Monday July 17, 2023 at 1:00 PM at Fair Haven Memorial Gardens.
