Sandy Duncan
1952-2023
It is with sadness the family announces the passing
of Sandra “Sandy” Gail Duncan, 70, of Forest Glen on January
3, 2023. Born in Moncton, she was a daughter to the late Corey
& Doreen (Fraser) Lewis.
Sandy was a school teacher and taught at Salisbury Elementary
for nearly 30 years. She touched the lives of hundreds of
children. Sandy enjoyed playing cards, washer toss, going to
the beach and especially shopping. She knew where the bargains
were. She loved spending time with friends and
family.
Sandy is survived and sadly missed by her husband, Burton
Duncan; her son, Corey Duncan (Pam); her sisters, Brenda Lewis
(Steven) and Coreen Hildebrand (Eric); her brother, Gary Lewis (Fran);
her grandchildren: Bryan, Kathy, Lyly as well as several nieces and
nephews.
Sandy is predeceased by her parents, her sister Beverley and
her infant daughter, Jillian.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Salisbury
Funeral Home. A Celebration of Sandy’s Life will be held on
Saturday, January 7th at 11:00am at the
Salisbury Funeral Home Chapel with reception to follow. Interment will
take place at a later date.
If desired, donations made to a charity of the
donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family. Online
