Sandra Gayle Shearer, born on June 5, 1943 in Orillia, ON sadly passed away at Fairhaven LTC in Peterborough on April 18th in her 80th year. Lovingly remembered by her children Scott, Sandra (Derrick) and Alyson (Neil). Predeceased by her husband and cherished friend Ted, parents Olga and Arthur Taylor, sisters Betty, Margaret and brothers Donny and Bobby. Fondly remembered by her sister Beverly (Dave) of Owen Sound. Sandra will always be remembered for her tenacity, vibrant personality and wonderful sense of style. She loved spending time at family cottages on Stoney Lake and Clear Lake, enjoying sunshine on the deck and the tranquility of the outdoors. We would like to sincerely thank the staff of Fairhaven, especially Dr. Spink and the staff at PRHC. Private family service will be held on Friday April 21 at Little Lake Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Peterborough Humane Society in Sandra’s memory
