JORGENSEN, Sandra Christina
A faithful servant of the Lord has been called to continue her good works in Heaven. Sandra Jorgensen died at Georgetown Hospital on March 31, 2023. Born in Belfast, Northern Ireland on August 15, 1956 to David and Lorna Lynn, Sandra was raised in Toronto with her sister Jackie (deceased). She worked in the airline industry for 37 years, enjoying her opportunities to help people at Ward Air, Canadian Pacific and Air Canada. She was a strong supporter of her community of Glen Williams and St. Alban’s Anglican Church, where, she was President of the Mothers’ Union. She worked tirelessly in the service of her family, her sister and the many people whose lives she touched. Sandra Jorgensen will be missed by many. Mourning her loss is her husband Ken Jorgensen, her sons Paul (Danielle), Andrew (Michelle) and Nicholas, nephews David and Michael (Rose) and grandsons Joshua, Austin and Owen. Friends will be received at the Jones Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Road, Georgetown (905) 877-3631 on Friday from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Funeral service will be held at St. Alban’s Anglican Church, 537 Main Street, Glen Williams on Saturday April 9, 2023 at 2 p.m. Reception to follow in the church hall. Cremation. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the St. Alban’s Church would be appreciated.
