Sandra passed away on Saturday, June 24, 2023 at the Kingston Health Sciences Centre. Sandra will be deeply missed by her loving husband Larry Armstrong of 61 years. Cherished mother of Cathy White (Paul), Vicky Sterling (late Richard), Carolyn Closs (Tim), Christine Johnson (David) and, the late Steven Armstrong . Caring grandmother of Holly (Matthew), Kristy, Nicholas (Jessie), Nathan, Sam, Hewitt, Jack and, Lily. Sandra will be remembered by her sisters Sharon Patterson (late Bill), Betty Ennis (Dale), brother Jim Wemp (Debbie) and late Fred Wemp (Veronica). Sandra was a retired, well respected teacher and a pickle-ball enthusiast, as well as an avid quilter and gardener. She was a loyal Blue Jays and Maple Leafs fan who loved her sports. She touched the lives of many and will be greatly missed.
The family will receive friends at the Wartman Funeral Home – Napanee on Monday, July 3rd from 2 – 4 pm and 6 – 8 pm. Funeral Service will be held at St. John’s Anglican Church in Bath on Tuesday, July 4, 2023 at 11 am. Interment to follow in St. John’s Anglican Cemetery.
